REPO! The Genetic Cosplay

Sarah/~shichi-reifujin and I are planning our REPO cosplays
We've been chatting abput it every so often since the credits started when we first saw the movie.
She started it by saying to me and I quote as acurately as I can:
Sarah: "You do look a little like Terrance."
Me: "What?! Oh great its true I do look like a man. This does make you Amber."
Sarah: "Naturally."

Nothings going to be exact, but this will help keep track of stuff. Then theres make up suplies and blue glow sticks and little glass vials.

I think the coat fabric is cotton blend, or a synthetic that is not too wimpy, but it's not super thick. I bought it at King Textiles 445 Richmond St W. 416-504-0600, they still had some last month.
It's brown with a mottled shiny finish that gives it that leather/suede vibe.
The fun fur is burgundy with darker bits, the store that we bought it at has none left.

The shirt is a lightweight cotton tunic in a mid murky mustard. We bought the shirts, then dyed them. The front opening wasn't low enough, so we just ripped it open more. To make it look dirty I mixed some Rit liquid dye in spritzer bottles a sprayed the shirt to look mottled (I used the same technique on Repo's shirt and coat lining)

The scarf is a piece of regular white cotton cheesecloth tie-dyed navy blue.

The knee pad is a basic black sports knee pad.

I have seen a lot of fantastic Graverobber costumes created by the fans, such great imagination and interpretation.
I think the attitude is more important than the costume. (Terrance has played Graverobber in many different costumes on stage.)
