OZ Comic-Con

Went to Adelaide's OZ Comic-Con in March and got to see and kind of meet Richard Dean Anderson (RDA) otherwise known as MacGyver or Jack O'Neill of Stargate SG-1.
RDA Panel was seen, photos were had and autograph was gotten. I haven't been so flustered in my whole life.
Even got the chance to get question answered when I was getting my autograph, was extra glad too because I'd missed out on chance to ask it during the panel.

Question: "What's your opinion on uh Sam and Jack and well their relationship?
RDA's answer: "Well I wish they had gotten a chance to get together it would have been nice. Though of course they were restricted with their positions in the air force and story wise it makes better drama them not getting together."

I was all "Oh hellz yes, he supports pairing!" and "Thank got I was able to form an audible sentence."
He also put a heart with his autograph, which did nothing to douse my fangirl high. I was able to at least keep calm when needed though and kept what dignity I have intact over the weekend though.

This epic encounter aside though I ran into so many friends on the Sunday of the convention weekend, including Melissa (*clueless-nu) who's birthday was that same day.
My first time catching her out side of AVCon, even if it was at another convention it was out from behind an art trader's table.

Obligatory thoughts on Mewtwo's new forme

Because how can I not post something on my opinion on this? Surely you've all been waiting for it. Am I right?

When this Pokemon was first revealed I was really hoping for it to be a Mewthree (New Mew Clone).
My head set at the time being that they shouldn't mess around with Mewtwo, he didn't need an evolution or another forme. They couldn't have come up with a bteer design? GameFreak leave Mew and Mewtwo alone!
I was ready to just deny the existence of the new Pokemon depending on the outcome. When it was confirmed to be a new forme for Mewtwo, I kind of just settled into disappointment not wanting to hate it, with a part of me curious to how and why the change happens.

Now thinking about it, it it is a forme it could be like Shaymin. Shaymin is able to switch between formes, the same could be for Mewtwo and well it is still Mewtwo.

Stuff

- I've been watching "Hannibal". TV series following the story of  Will Graham and Hannibal Lecter before "Red Dragon" Actor's took getting used to, but it is well done and enjoyable if you are a fan.
- Got some catching up to do on ACTFur, hopefully I can get up to date before season 5 starts. Listening to it I realise how much I missed it.
- "Deezmo, Carni we need to smoosh Melbourne and South Australia together or you guys could come over for an Adeliade convention sometime?" In other words I miss you. Why must I fail at travel? >A<
- I think I want a Rew tail.
- It's May. Turning 26 on the 26th apparently.
